ifour client Fourex wins Virgin Media Pitch to Rich campaign

Published by

Tunbridge Wells based creative design agency ifour are celebrating today as client Fourex reaches the final and wins in the ‘New Things’ category of Richard Branson’s Pitch to Rich 2015 campaign.

ifour were appointed by the duo August 2014 and were briefed to assist with brand renovation ahead of their UK launch.

Jeff Paterson and Oliver Du Toit are the brains behind this new business idea that is set to revolutionise the world of foreign currency exchange. With partnerships in place with Transport for London and Westfield shopping centres they are set to launch their first kiosk in August 2015.

ifour understood that the branding needed to clean, effective and have a pictorial understanding due to its potential global success.

Oliver and Jeff loved the bold use of colour and bespoke illustrations that would appeal to a wide audience. After the initial concept meeting it was clear that the agency had understood the brief and Fourex were thrilled about seeing the brand come to life.

Once the designs had been agreed the agency got to work on the design of the kiosk, user interface screens and crowd funding video, this was crucial for the duo as it was an integral part of their business strategy to raise vital funding for kiosk manufacturing.

Working with CrowdCube, they offered investors the opportunity to purchase shares which which gave them a voting right along with discounts for buying currency at the machines, and more importantly for the business creating on-going brand advocates.

Jeff Paterson comments “We put it on crowd funding and we were blown away,” Paterson says. “We reached the target in six days and had to pull it off very quickly because we were 244 per cent overfunded. Our experience with it was phenomenal.

Graeme Hall, ifour’s Creative Director says, “It has been fantastic to work with such a revolutionary idea and to bring this brand to life, Jeff and Oliver have been amazing to work with and we now consider them great friends of ifour. We are all really excited about the launch in August and cannot wait to see them develop the business on a global scale.”
